What We Do?
Here at the Winter Café we provide a warm welcome and a wide array of honest to goodness homemade food and drinks. We are located within the beautiful grounds of Hill House Nursery, Landscove, Devon which adds to the pleasure of your visit.
Come sit by the log fire and try our tasty homemade soups which are a perfect winter warmer. We also offer filled jacket potatoes and one-pot casseroles, freshly filled baguettes and sandwiches, all guaranteed to send you home feeling well fed. Another Winter Cafe staple is our famed cakes, bakes, and scones! Come join us for a Devon cream tea. We use quality ingredients adding only a homemade touch. Our cakes and scones include Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten-Free creations all freshly made daily. We are lucky to have on our door-step of some the county’s best food producers and we love to keep it local by sourcing our ingredients from local suppliers including Riverford Farm and Dartmoor Butcher’s to name just a couple.
